Until yesterday, I hadn’t been to the Franklin Park Conservatory. Paul recommended we check it out and take some pictures there, and it was, to say the least, awesome. We walked around outside and in, and took a ton of pictures (read as: I literally changed 5 times). The conservatory has a bunch of different exhibits, each designed to imitate various biomes from around the world. These photos are the first in the series, taken in the ‘desert’ and ‘Japanese garden’..

Our plans to spend the day shooting were almost foiled by the discovery of a leak in our apartment yesterday morning, and I guess when I say leak, what I really mean is a flood from upstairs coming through our lights. Luckily, nothing was ruined, and emergency maintenance made it out in a timely manner to fix the problem (though, it definitely sucks that they had to come in on a Sunday). We just can’t pass up reflective photo ops..
