Where we stayed..

I absolutely loved this beautiful hostel. We had a room with four beds  (there were four of us so it worked out) for two nights. They have communal bathrooms and kitchens but it makes for a fun sense of community on the island.

Pros:
Affordable ( ~$13 USD/Night)
Adorable
Right on the Water
Free Wi-Fi (and the Wifi is awesome – this is hard to come by in Central America)

Cons:
10pm ‘Quiet Time’ – they seriously enforce this

These stickers were all over the island at various bars, shops, and restaurants, just thought they were cool..

One of the best places to hang out on Caye Caulker..

You will literally meet people from all walks of life and from all over the world here. Drinks are cheap and everyone is friendly, definitely a good time

There’s kayaking, snorkeling, good food, friendly people, and beautiful scenery. This lazy (and affordable)  island is definitely a must see if you’re in Belize

  2. We also visited Caye Caulker while staying n San Pedro for two weeks last October. In fact, we went 2 days – just lovely but can see everything in about 45 minutes…then just hang out at The Lay Lizard – the taco stand right out side is wonderful !! 🙂
